Overview
The 2nd Awareness Camp and 1st Assessment Camp on Prosthetics & Orthotics in Mysore were a resounding success.
Participants: 85 individuals, including children, health workers, parents, and community members.

Key Focus Areas
Importance of prosthetic and orthotic devices in managing common deformities like CTEV, flat feet, and amputations.
Early intervention strategies for children.
The sessions, led by Mr. Vinay Kumar Saxena and Ms. Indra, emphasized timely care and the availability of assistive devices such as AFOs, special chairs, and wheelchairs.
During the Assessment Camp, 25 participants were evaluated for
- Below-knee amputation
- Bilateral congenital talipes equinovarus (CTEV)
- Need for MCR slippers
Outcomes included
- Measurements and casting conducted for specific cases.
- Referrals for physiotherapy and further medical care.
